1956 Thompson Sea Skiff

This boat was fully restored 4 years ago, but
she could use a fresh coat of varnish and hull paint. She comes with a vintage
1958 Evinrude Lark 30 HP with electric start. She rides on a vintage Tee Nee
trailer that needs a coat of paint. The boat takes 2-3 days to swell up and
after that she's as tight as a drum. Fresh water use only. This is a great
boat at a great price. At 15 feet she handles big water very comfortably and
turns heads wherever you go. The work required to bring her back to perfect
shape would involve 8-10 hours at the most. Hate to let her go but I already
have a 22 foot 1948 Chris Craft to keep me busy, and the wife wants the
garage back!

Marine
Conversion for an Allison V12 engine
???!!!

Marine
conversion for an Allison V1710 engine,
two rails stamped 1943
to hold
the transmission together as one unit.
The transmission is the kind used on the
big Packard V12 PT Boat,
forward/reverse/neutral and has the
important housing adapter that fits in
place of the prop drive. The two mesh
gears look and feel as tight as can be,
almost press fit together. The box
turned over 2 years ago with a bar on
the drive shaft flange, but will need a
tear down to check corrosion on inner
bearings. A Packard V12 workshop manual
is included that details the teardown
and rebuild. Also included is an
original government schematic of every
single component. The pair of Van Blerk
manifolds were taken off a running
Allison. These parts are 64 years old,
but if you want to put a mighty Allison
into a Gentleman's Racer, this is a
great start !!!
