Vintage Schedules ???!!!
Happy New
Year Gang !!!
Winter is
here in beautiful Wolfeboro and we are enjoying a very snowy and
scenic
Currier &
Ives white Christmas season. The temps are now well below
freezing, we
are expecting another big snow storm this weekend, the ski
resorts are in full operation
and our
beloved vintage wooden boats are tucked away safe and sound,
sleeping in
winter
storage.
Annual Shop Christmas Gathering - lots of photos !!!
Thank you to all our friends for stopping by and making our
annual Christmas Gathering
for 2009 another huge success. We cleaned up our shop pretty
good, threw up some tinsel
and lights on the overhead hoist, and decorated our shop
Christmas tree. Yup, we went all
out again this year, and Brian Small brought his annual
Christmas ham that Hank Why just
inhaled. We all had a great time, with lots of great vintage
banter and videos, and all food
donations were met with standing ovations. Here is the link for
all the photos !!!

Looking back - a decade of vintage event photos - many fond
memories....
In an effort to share all the fun
of our APBA and ACBS vintage events, here are some links
to our photo galleries that have
accumulated over the years. Lots of adventures, good times,
good friends, our beloved wooden
boats and of course, lots of food and drink-vintage gatherings.

Looking forward - 2010 APBA & ACBS Vintage Schedules:
2010 APBA Vintage Race Boat Circuit !!!
The first APBA sanctioned vintage
race boat regatta was at Clayton, New York in 1992
where we got a chance to run our
beloved vintage race boats on an actual race course,
running some pretty hot laps.
Since then, in the spirit of Gar Wood and Orlin Johnson,
we have run our beloved Gar Wood Speedster Obsession on the
APBA Vintage Race Boat
Circuit. Like vintage car racing,
there are actually people out there who run their vintage
race boats on APBA (American
Power Boat Association) sanctioned race courses, and
participate in a very active APBA
Vintage Race Boat Circuit.

APBA vintage schedule:

2010 Local ACBS Vintage Events !!!
Since 1979, we have also been
active members, supporters and promoters of our New
England Chapter of the Antique &
Classic Boat Society. We are Board Members, continue
to maintain the chapter Website,
and we are very active participating at local ACBS events
here on beautiful Lake
Winnipesaukee. Here is the link for the 2010 ACBS vintage
events:

Please consider joining us for all the adventures and all the

Saturday Morning Gatherings
If you get a chance, please
stop by and join our Saturday Morning Gatherings. We provide
fresh pots of coffee, interesting projects to discuss, a big
screen TV and sound system, and
usually have some vintage boat racing videos blasting in the
background. If you want
to join our therapy group, put on your grubbies and come join
the fun. We usually have
around 15/20 vintage wonderers attending, have a couple of
rocking chairs, way too many
donuts, hot coffee and lots of good vintage boat banter. Please
come join us, the coffee
is usually ready by 9:00, please bring donuts.
